sunsets

I absolutely adore watching the sunset. I find it romantic and peaceful and cathartic and reinvigorating. To me, the sun is my constant. I know that no matter what happens each day, the sun will always be there to set on that day and rise again on a new one. The sun helps me to realize there is something bigger than myself and helps me to stay present.

When I travel, I always seek out the sunset. There is something magical about being in a new place and watching something so powerful. It helps me feel connected with the place I’m visiting, while also keeping me connected to myself. My phone is full of sunset pictures, but nothing compares to watching the sunset over a body of water. It is absolutely my favorite thing to see in the entire world.
